WISHH welcomed its in-country representatives from across Africa to the United States for a training focused on sharing successes, strengthening collaboration, and aligning on best practices to grow demand for U.S. so this week. During the visit, WISHH’s marketing, branding, and promotion team led discussions on unified messaging and tools to better communicate the value of soy across regional markets. WISHH’s in-country representatives serve as relationship builders overseas and the boots-on-the-ground to promote U.S. soy in the marketplace.
A key highlight of the trip was a visit to W. Stemme Farms, where WISHH Committee Member and Missouri soybean farmer Denny Mertz guided participants on how on-farm practices contribute to a high-quality, sustainable, and safe supply of soy protein.
“Any time that we get our overseas representatives back on a soybean farm in the U.S., that is a great win for developing markets,” said Mertz. “These experiences reinforce the direct connection between U.S. soybean farmers and global partners, helping build stronger relationships that support long-term trade and demand for our crops.”
