The ASA’s World Initiative for Soy in Human Health program welcomed poultry business leaders from Ghana to the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture in Ibadan, Nigeria, last week for a cross-regional exchange designed to strengthen businesses and expand future demand for U.S. Soy.
Through USSEC’s Soy Excellence Center training at IITA, participants learned practical approaches to improving farm growth and high-quality soy and feed supply. The exchange also celebrated the graduation of twelve business leaders from the Soy Excellence Center, recognizing their commitment to advancing their businesses and the region’s poultry sector. This training builds on the on-farm technical assistance and industry support WISHH provides to the Ghanaian poultry industry.
WISHH Chair Morey Hill congratulated the graduates and emphasized the value of connecting partners across WISHH’s network. He noted that cross-regional exchanges allow business leaders to learn directly from one another, accelerate industry growth and create stronger opportunities for trade for U.S. Soy.
