WISHH hosted food industry leaders from Guatemala, Costa Rica, and El Salvador at the IFT FIRST Conference in Chicago July 12-15. IFT First is one of the world’s leading food science and innovation events. The annual conference brings together food scientists, manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and researchers to explore the latest advancements in food technology and product development.

WISHH trade team participants were introduced to the and value of U.S. soy through its many food uses, highlighting innovative soy-based ingredients and applications that can help companies develop nutritious, high-quality food products. WISHH continues to strengthen relationships with future customers in Latin America by showing how U.S. soy can support business growth and meet evolving consumer demand. Additionally, it works with top universities in the region to dispel common myths about soy, raise awareness of soy’s protein profile, and create influencers who can share the value of soy across Latin America.
