American Soybean Association President Scott Metzger has confirmed the appointments of new members to ASA’s World Initiative for Soy in Human Health Program Committee for the upcoming year. Adele Flynn of Wellington, Ohio joins the Committee as a new at-large member while Brent Renner of Klemme, Iowa joins as a United Soybean Board ex-officio representative. Additionally, Matthew Guedon of Natchez, Mississippi serves as USB’s ex-officio alternate.
“As WISHH continues to grow and chart new markets for U.S. soy, I appreciate the farmers who volunteer their time to lead the WISHH program,” added WISHH Executive Director Gena Perry. “Farmers are our brand ambassadors and serve as the best example of the ability of U.S. soy to our business partners around the world.”
The new members will join a committee focused on driving demand in new markets in the food and feed sectors. Additionally, they will help drive WISHH’s strategy for growth in areas such as aquaculture in Ghana and Nigeria and dive headfirst into WISHH’s Trans-Caspian plan that lays the groundwork for increased trade in Central Asia.
