WISHH Committee Approves New Strategic Plan

July 29, 2010 - Reprintd with permission ASA Leader Letter...The American Soybean Association's World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH) Committee convened on a conference call Monday to approve the updated WISHH Strategic Plan. In an effort spanning more than 12 months, the WISHH committee, staff and stakeholders gave input into revising the strategic plan launched in 2004 and implemented 2005 to 2009.

Among the updates to the new plan, developed for 2011 to 2015, is a revised mission statement: Create commercially sustainable solutions and opportunities for U.S. soy protein by improving the health and nutrition of people in developing countries by addressing protein deficiencies."
