Technologies Available

There is continuous research and development being done to develop new technologies to produce soy foods. The development projects of WISHH aim to use these technologies to help in the economic development of the aid receivers. Some of the technologies can be used for small-scale production to help in the micro level entrepreneurship. These technologies are designed to produce high protein soy products that not only provide the producer with a regular income but also benefit the community health and nutrition. The link below will take you to the presentation made by Dr. Karl E. Weingartner who has been with the International Soybean Program (INTSOY) at UIUC since 1988. It summarizes the various technologies available for small-scale production of commercial soy products.
