Cambodian Feed Millers Look to U.S. Soy

U.S. soybean meal exports are increasing as the Cambodian economy grows, and feed millers are looking for high-quality ingredients.

Last week, three Cambodian feed millers from two companies attended the International Grains Program (IGP) Feed Manufacturing Course at the Kansas State University in Manhattan.

During the course, attendees heard speakers from Kansas State University covering a wide range of topics including feed safety, mixing, grinding, pelleting and extrusion. ASA/WISHH Asia Division Director Alan F. Poock escorted the trade team during their trip.

Funding for this trade team was provided by the Kansas Soybean Commission.
