In recognition of International School Meals Day, ASA’s WISHH shares two videos highlighting the steps and teamwork that led to more nutritious school feeding programs with soy protein in Central America and Côte d’Ivoire. WISHH thanks its many partners in these efforts. U.S. Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service support, including Cochran Fellowship Program training, and state soybean checkoff organizations all contributed to these results.
The government of the Cote d’Ivoire is now incorporating soy protein from
Archer Daniels Midland Company in their school feeding program.
Alimentos S.A. has achieved measurable results in school nutrition
programs with their multiple foods made with soy protein.
